What is there to do in Mont-Tremblant besides ski? There are many things to do and in this blog I’m going to talk about the Multi-Activity Bundle. Mont-Tremblant is a cool little mountain town that is known for skiing and ski resorts. But aside from skiing, especially in the summer, there are many other things to do. When strolling through the Pedestrian Village and you end up in the Upper Village, you’ll notice a lot of things going on. Many of these activities are part of the Multi-Activity Bundle.
Multi-Activity Bundle
The Multi-Activity Bundle allows you to experience a diverse range of activities from the mountain top of Mont-Tremblant to the Pedestrian Village and Lac Tremblant. The Multi-Activity Bundle is available for 3 or 5 activities. When purchasing the pass you will save money (assuming you want to do multiple) compared to booking the activities separately. The 3-activity bundle costs $72 for adults and the 5-activity bundle costs $122. It is cheaper for children and if you book in advance, you get a bit of a discount. If we knew that, we would have done it in advance. The activities are good for 10 days too, so if you have a longer stay in Mont-Tremblant there’s no need to rush. We booked the 3-activity bundle and had a lot of fun doing some cool activities.
Our Activities
When we arrived at the Upper Village, we realized it cost $32 to take the Panoramic Gondola to the top of Mont-Tremblant. We also saw the Eurobungy Bungee Trampoline which looked like a lot of fun for our daughter and were already considering Tonga Lumina; we inquired about prices and found out it would be worth it to purchase the 3-activity bundle.
We had most of the activities planned, but we had to choose a few extra ones to make it worth it. The first thing we did was the Eurobungy Bungee Trampoline… this was our daughter’s activity and she had a blast. Who doesn’t like jumping on a trampoline? And even better, with the bungees, you get to jump extremely high. We knew we had to ride Panoramic Gondola but it was foggy in the morning, so, pro-tip wait till it clears up so you can get a clear view of the Pedestrian-Village, Lac Tremblant and the surrounding region. We went later in the day; the ride was nice and the views were amazing.
Then there’s the ZipTrek Jump Zone which is a 20 m freefall jump from a platform in the mountain. The platform overlooks the Pedestrian-Village. I knew this was something I had to do so I filled out the waiver and waited for my time slot. We had Tonga Lumina later in the evening, so we needed one more activity for my wife. There were a few activities we considered, but we opted to use her extra activity on our daughter, the build a bear activity at Univers Toutou. There were plenty of stuffies to choose from, not just bears and she opted for a dragon. While she built her dragon I headed up to the ZipTrek Jump Zone.
The orientation was quick and was followed by a nice 15-minute hike partially up the mountain. The views were beautiful, but once I arrived at the Jump Zone I started to get nervous. There were 3 of us in our group and I ended up going first. Standing on the platform and waiting to jump was the worst of it because once I jed the fall was quick and easy. The freefall is onto a platform 20 m below and the rope tightens and slows before you hit the drop zone. It wasn’t as crazy as I expected but was fun and worth doing.
Later that evening we did Tonga Lumina which starts at 9:30 pm. The activity is popular and rated highly, so arrive early. We arrived a bit early, which was good because the line got big. After waiting in line, we took the ski-lift up the mountain and went through an immersive light show in the forest, telling a story about Tonga, the protector of the forest. It was an excellent activity that I’ll cover in more detail in my next blog post.
Other Activities Offered
We had a blast doing all the activities we chose, and I think our daughter had even more fun. So, we were happy, but there were many others to choose from. My wife wanted to do the Ceramic Painting activity at Studio Creatif in the Pedestrian-Village but by the time here creation would have dried, we would already be on the road to Montreal the next day, so our daughter built a bear instead.
There are also many other laid-back activities in the Pedestrian-Village including:
- Laser-tag
- Virtual Reality
- Escape Rooms
- Mini-Golf
Then for adventure lovers there are things like:
- Kayaking
- Stand-up Paddleboard
- Tubing
- Biking
There are other activities to choose from, but these are the ones that stood out to me. So, if you’re at Mont-Tremblant for a few days there are plenty of activities that should excite you. There is also the Birds of Prey Show in the mountain which sounded interesting too.
Review: Was it Worth it?
Some of the activities vary in price, but most of the best ones like Tonga Lumina and the Panoramic Gondola cost $32 per adult so paying $72 for 3 activities ($24/activity) is worth it if you’re doing these ones. And, the ZipTrek Jump Zone costs $40, so we definitely got our money’s worth.
There were tons of activities to choose from and all the activities we did were excellent, so it’s safe to say we got our moneys worth and would totally recommend the Multi-Activity Bundle in Mont-Tremblant. If you’re there for longer and are feeling adventurous, I’d even recommend considering the 5-activity bundle.
